Hair Transplantation with Fue Technique
Hair transplantation (Follicular Unit Extraction) method is performed with local anesthesia. The hair follicles in the nape area between the two ears are taken one by one with the help of a micro motor, and hair transplantation is done by considering the hairless areas, the direction of growth, and the angle of hair growth. In hair transplantation, 0.7-1 mm hair follicles are taken from the nape area with the help of a micro motor tip and transplanted to the sparse area. No stitches are required in hair transplantation with the FUE Technique. FUE hair transplantation technique is frequently preferred because it is one of the most comfortable hair transplantation techniques for the patient. Hair transplantation time varies between 4 and 8 hours depending on the width of the opening area. One of the most important issues to be considered in hair transplantation is that it is applied in hospital and operating room conditions. Things to Consider After Hair Transplant
- Use the medicines given to you after hair transplantation regularly as described.
- After the operation, the bandage applied to the donor area (the area where the hair follicles are taken) is removed the next day.
- Be careful not to hit your head unconsciously, as there is numbness after the operation. Be especially careful when getting in or out of the vehicle.
- Lie on your back for 1 week after the operation, be careful not to lie on the right or left side. The transplanted area should not touch anything (U-shaped travel pillows can be preferred as they will provide you convenience and comfort while sleeping).
- Sexual abstinence should be applied for the first 1 week after the operation.
- For 1 month after the operation, avoid environments such as the pool, sea, Turkish bath, sauna and solarium and stay in the sun for a long time.
- As situations such as frequent contact with the hair transplant and extraction area and scratching can cause acne and infection, these behaviors should be avoided.
- From the 5th day after the operation, the hair dryer can be used to blow cold air at low setting.
- Sports should not be done for 1 month after the operation.
- For 45 days after the operation, heavy sports such as football, boxing, kickboxing that will damage the hair transplant area as a result of impact should be avoided.
- Avoid scratching, bumping and hitting the transplanted area.
- Do not drink alcohol for a total of 15 days after the operation, especially during the time you are using drugs, and reduce smoking.
- You can start using the wide hat 3 days after the operation at the earliest.
- The first shave after hair transplantation should be done with scissors only for the transplantation and removal area after 3 months. If desired, the machine can be used from the 6th month.
- You can dye your hair at least 6 months after the operation.
- You can start using hair conditioners such as spray and gel at least 6 months after the hair transplant operation.
Washing After Hair Transplantation
You can wash your hair as follows 2 days after the hair transplant operation. Shake the PANTHENOL spray first. Then spray the spray on the transplanted area. Make sure that the foam covers the entire hair transplant area. Leave the foam on your head for 1 hour to soften the crusts and clots in the hair transplant area. Do not apply to the hair removal area. Then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm and non-pressure water. Afterwards, apply the shampoo by lathering well in your hands and apply it liberally to both the hair removal and the transplanted area, without rubbing, by pressing lightly and rinse with warm water. After rinsing, dry with a paper towel by pressing lightly without rubbing. Optionally, you can dry the hair dryer by holding it remotely at the lowest and cold setting 5 days after the hair transplant operation. From the 7th day of washing, you can wash your hair with light massages with your fingertips. All crusts must be shed within 14 days at the latest. Discontinue the use of the spray after all the shells have been poured. Use until the shampoo runs out, after that you can start using any shampoo you want.
